11+ Intensive Christmas Course

The Christmas Course is a one-week intensive course designed specifically for 11+ and 13+ students who want to significantly improve their marks in preparation for the independent school entrance examinations.
The course is the brainchild of our founder, Victoria, who has maintained a 94% success rate since 2010.
The course will be taught by Victoria's team of exceptional Common Entrance tutors.

PM: how to impress teachers and examiners even when answering short writing composition questions.

AM: interview practice followed by prizes, gifts and an end of course celebrations.

IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR BOOKING A PLACE?
Places are based on a first come, first served basis. Once places have been sold, we won't be accepting any additional children onto the course.
What's the difference between this course and the October half-term one?
The October course focuses more on knowledge-building and filling in knowledge gaps whilst the Christmas course places a greater emphasis on exam technique. Often, we find that students understand certain topics in theory but struggle to apply their knowledge in exam contexts. The Christmas course focuses on knowledge application and we teach students how to apply their knowledge in exam conditions.
The course therefore covers:
Speed, timing and accuracy.
Resilience and self-motivation.
How to overcome nerves, anxiety and exam fears.
Interview technique skills (including group interviews, school visitation days and 1:1 interviews)
Are mock tests included?
Yes. We provide two mock assessments; one at the beginning and another at the end of the course. The tests enable us to observe how students are performing, highlight areas of weakness and fill in knowledge gaps.
Will my child need to bring any materials?
Your child will need a pencil case, their laptop/computer or tablet. Dictionaries and reading books are optional.
