11+ Easter revision COURSE
Monday 2nd- Friday 6th April 2018
St Benedict's School, Ealing, London (W5)
Hours: 10am- 3pm / Monday-Friday
SMALL GROUP SIZES ✔
We keep our class sizes small to ensure that each child receives a high amount of contact time and attention.
THOROUGH TUITION ✔
We don't just throw students into a class, we assess them, get to know them and work closely to identify their knowledge gaps. We then spend the duration of the course tackling topics that students are struggling with most.
DETAILED FEEDBACK AND PROGRESS MONITORING ✔
This ensures that you know how your child is doing and you'll have a clear indication of which areas to focus on once the course has ended.
EXAM TECHNIQUE coaching AND INTERVIEW PRACTICE ✔
We understand that exams can be intimidating for children; we therefore help our students to feel more confident about the exam process by teaching them techniques that make exam preparation fun and that also reduce their nerves and anxiety. We aim to ensure that our students can walk into each exam feeling confident in themselves.
The course is suitable for:
- Students in Years 4 and 5 who are sitting the independent school entrance exams for schools including Harrow, Westminster, Eton College, Cheltenham Ladies' College, Headington, Haileybury, City of London School, JAGS, Emanuel School and the North London Independent Schools' Consortium.
- Students who are preparing for the grammar school entrance exams (including the Durham University CEM and GL Assessment).
Our students have received offers from leading schools including:
To date, our students have gone on to win places at several leading independent and grammar schools including Westminster, Eton College, St Paul's, More House, Dubai College, Francis Holland School, Merchiston Castle, Emanuel School and many more.
In 2016, 95% of our 11+ course students received offers from their first choice school. In addition, our students were offered places at a minimum of three of their desired schools.
IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR BOOKING A PLACE?
Places are based on a first come, first served basis. Once the course is fully booked, we stop accepting additional children onto the course. Typically, the course is fully booked six weeks before the start date.
IS LUNCH PROVIDED?
We provide light snacks but students will need to bring a packed lunch and bottle of water with them each day. We recommend including enough food in your child's lunchbox so that they don't feel hungry during the day.
WILL MY CHILD NEED TO BRING ANYTHING ELSE?
Just a pencil case and packed lunch. Some students choose to bring a dictionary or thesaurus but this is optional.
is there a dress code?
We recommend that students wear comfortable clothing and footwear so that they can take part in sporting activities and learning games.
Where is the course located?
The course is located very close to Ealing Broadway station; nearby areas include Chiswick, Kingston, Richmond, Twickenham, Hanwell, Pinner and Harrow.
